sfk ... +xxdecode [options]
sfk xxdecode infile
extract encoded (binary) files from plain
ascii text and write them to disk. decodes
plain xxencode format marked by "begin".
allows only to write relative pathnames like
foo\bar\the.txt
but not absolute paths like C:\foo.txt
options
-pat mask extract only files having mask in their
path or filename. use -pat !mask
to exclude paths or filenames.
-pat \mask\ says the path or file
must start and end with mask.
-todir x write output files to folder x
-yes really write the files. default is
to simulate what would be written.
command chaining
can be used after another command
like fromclip which provides input text.
automatically skips normal (mail) text until
the first begin record is found.
limitations
uses filename characters as is, without any
codepage or utf-8 conversion. accent or unicode
characters in filenames may cause write failures
on extraction.
