How to install the video ringtones on your mobile phone:
- first check if you got a software CD delivered with your mobile, and install this.
- otherwise, you may download a free software package from your mobile vendor first, often called "PC Suite".
- if an usb cable is delivered with your phone, it should be simple: connect your mobile to the pc, then copy the .3gp files into some "video" or "movie" folder on your phone.
- other ways of connecting your mobile are bluetooth or infrared. this may or may not require some additional hardware for your pc, e.g. bluetooth interface stick.
- once the files are copied to your mobile, select them as a ringtone, if possible.
- older mobile models may not be able to select a video as a ringtone; in this case, a non-video mp3 ringtone may work. but you can still play the videos directly, or maybe select them as a mobile screen saver.
- if you copied a -vac.3gp file, and it cannot be played back at all, or has sound missing, retry with the -cmr.3gp files.
