If you have a mobile phone, with a color display in a resolution of 128x128, 128x160 or 176x208 pixels, then you have several options:

download via browser, transfer from PC to mobile:

Surf through the mobile logo gallery here, and download everything you like to your PC, by using the right mouse button and "save image as". Finally, transfer the stuff from your PC to your mobile phone.

Please consult your mobile's documentation about how to connect your mobile to your PC; usually, your mobile phone vendor will supply a free software for this (for example, the Nokia PC Suite), and you may have to use infrared, bluetooth, or a special cable.

direct download from internet to your mobile:

Attention: surfing the web with your mobile phone is expensive, at least if you're not using a special Internet Rate Plan. Usually, GRPS connections are payed by traffic volume, not by time. For example, downloading a still image can cost you half a dollar, and a single animation (60 kbytes) can cost you about two Dollars. These informations are without warranty, and it is recommended that you check your mobile rate plan about the real cost of internet connections.

Before connecting, have a look here, and decide which images you actually want to download.

You may then connect to the web address http://stahlworks.com with your WAP capable phone (for example, Nokia 3100), and you should reach a page with a message "Vincent Stahl Free Mobile Gallery", presenting to you logos for instant, free download. if you don't know how to connect to the internet with your mobile phone, please consult your phone's documentation, or your mobile provider. Some cell phones are well prepared, offering a large set of selectable configuration settings. Others have to be programmed first, with config data from your network provider. You may also consult google about GPRS settings.

Within the gallery, save all images and animations you like on your mobile, and then use them as a background, or screen saver. Some mobiles are able of playing animated screen savers, others are not.

Attention: make sure you have enough free memory on your mobile, especially before downloading animations! Without enough memory, it happened to me that my mobile completely froze. I then had to remove and re-insert the battery to restart. After the deletion of some older images from the mobile's gallery, everything worked fine.
